September be Poppin' Hey to any single soul that reads these, FINALLY got access to this blog again. Shouts out to Taylor from Square support, you a real one. Progress is (finally) being made but I've had to take an alternate path to make headway. I am transitioning the game over to being a VR game since unfortunately, I'm going to have to scrap using Tobii eye tracking due to the fact I cannot get my hands on an eye tracker. I even reached out to support but they kindly let me know they get many requests like mine and could not help due to COVID as well as inventory stock being low, even on older devices. They did point me to the idea of 'Foveated Rendering' instead, which I am looking into and it looks promising! I should also mention I have scrapped Unreal Engine for Unity for sake of simplicity and time. Getting my Oculus Dev Kit 2 set up with Unity was pretty easy thanks to Valem's Tutorial on YouTube, and the touch controllers integrate too! So far I've just made a simple scene with a red cube to get my bearings on VR development. Now I just have to flesh out the physical level in Unity and give it a test run on my headset. Just a pic I took to show my current Development setup Unity VR Scene LMMS - Showcasing some instruments I'm messing around with

Hey! Here for a update that should've happened at least once or twice in the past two months but if you haven't noticed the world is burning. So, sorry for being late and a little lazy. These past two months have been improving my skills with modeling and 3D design as well as studying some game releases like Last of Us II and Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild. I've also started teaching myself material design with Substance by Adobe. Being able to create my own materials for my game allows for a lot more freedom in how the environment will look so I'm really happy for that. Anyways, I'm going to go update my Trello and dive into some more video tutorials. Here's some new logo designs and I'll see ya in the next update! Final Choice: Title is only for show really, I want the image to be the game's desktop icon

It's claim to innovation is that it provides players with a psychological analysis and taken game path, allowing them to explore multiple ways of thinking and problem-solving. Current work on the project: ✓ Completed Project Proposal ✓ Taught myself basic 3D modeling with Blender ✓ Taught myself the Basics of the lmms DAW ✓ Taught myself the basics of using and interacting with UE4 * Working on getting the floor plan of my demo level completed * Once the layout is complete, I need to work on creating the assets necessary for my demo Below I'm going to post the sketch of my floorplan and that should wrap this up |
